Development Carbon bike rims of the production process



Since the 1970s,people began to use carbon fiber composites in bicycle design and manufacture of carbon fiber bike gradually become the development direction of high-level sports bike,attracted more and more attention.With the carbon fiber composite manufacturing technology becoming more mature,a significant decline in the price of carbon fiber,to promote research and development of carbon fiber bicycle.After years of development,carbon fiber composite materials have become high,mid-range mainstream bicycle frame material has been widely welcomed.
Carbon fiber composites have high strength,modulus,low density,good fatigue resistance,vibration,strong resistance to environmental performance,etc.,with its manufacturing carbon fiber bicycle frame has the following characteristics.

Currently,the carbon fiber composite molding process are pasting molding,pultrusion,filament winding molding,RTM molding,braided molding,autoclave molding process method,which is most suitable for RTM molding process for manufacturing Carbon bike rims.
